Federal Incentives
Program Status: Inactive
No active federal iZEV program incentives for light-duty Tesla vehicles as the program paused on January 12, 2025, with no additional funding allocated.
How it works:
- Purchase an eligible Tesla model.
- Tesla submits the incentive application on your behalf at point-of-sale.
- Tesla deducts the value of the incentive from the final vehicle price before taxes.
- The government reimburses Tesla for the incentive amount.

Provincial Incentives
Ontario
Currently, Ontario does not offer provincial incentives for electric vehicles. The program was cancelled in 2018.
