Federal Incentives
Program Status: Closed/Inactive
No active federal consumer purchase/lease incentives for light-duty Tesla vehicles in December 2025. The iZEV program is closed (paused January 12, 2025, due to funding exhaustion; end date March 31, 2025). Businesses may access enhanced first-year capital cost allowance (up to 75% of $61,000 for vehicles acquired January 1, 2024–December 31, 2025); consult Canada Revenue Agency. iMHZEV for medium/heavy-duty up to $200,000 (businesses only). Tesla Model 3/Y 2024-2025 had iZEV eligibility until January 10, 2025 .

Provincial Incentives
Ontario
Currently, Ontario does not offer provincial incentives for electric vehicles. The program was cancelled in 2018.
