Federal Incentives
Program Status: Ended
The federal Incentives for Zero-Emission Vehicles (iZEV) Program has ended as of January 2025, with no funding available in 2026. It previously offered up to $5,000 at point-of-sale for eligible new ZEVs (purchase or lease 12+ months), but paused January 12, 2025, and Tesla Model 3/Y 2024-2025 models had eligibility end date January 10, 2025.
How it works:
- Purchase an eligible Tesla model.
- Tesla submits the incentive application on your behalf at point-of-sale.
- Tesla deducts the value of the incentive from the final vehicle price before taxes.
- The government reimburses Tesla for the incentive amount.

Provincial Incentives
Ontario
Currently, Ontario does not offer provincial incentives for electric vehicles. The program was cancelled in 2018.
Currently, most provinces do not offer incentives for Tesla vehicles. Quebec and British Columbia may offer incentives for certain models. Please check your provincial government website for the most up-to-date information.
