Referral Program Benefits
Using a Referral Link Gets You:
New Tesla buyers in Canada using a valid referral code receive up to C$1,300 off the purchase price of a Model S, Model X, or Model Y. Model 3 is not eligible for referral discount in Canada. Additionally, new buyers receive 3 months of free Full Self-Driving (FSD) (Supervised) software with their purchase when using a referral code. All new Tesla vehicles come with a standard 30-day free trial of FSD capability upon delivery regardless of referral use, but using a referral code extends this to three months. The referral discount must be applied at order time and cannot be added later.

Federal Incentives - $5,000 Off
Program Status: Paused as of January 12, 2025, but existing funding is available for eligible vehicles ordered before the pause. The program will end on December 31, 2026, or when funding is exhausted. The incentive amount will reduce to $2,000 effective January 1, 2026.
The federal iZEV Program offers up to $5,000 for eligible light-duty battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. This incentive is applied at the point of sale by the dealership and is available for vehicles purchased or leased for at least 12 months. The incentive is not available for vehicles with a base MSRP over $55,000 for passenger cars or $60,000 for SUVs and light trucks, with higher trims eligible up to $65,000 and $70,000 respectively. The program paused on January 12, 2025, but existing funding is still available for eligible vehicles ordered before the pause. The incentive is not available for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y base models after January 10, 2025, due to price increases. The incentive is available for other Tesla models that meet the price and eligibility criteria.
How it works:
- Purchase an eligible Tesla model.
- Tesla submits the incentive application on your behalf at point-of-sale.
- Tesla deducts the value of the incentive from the final vehicle price before taxes.

Provincial Incentives
Ontario
Currently, Ontario does not offer provincial incentives for electric vehicles. The program was cancelled in 2018.
Currently, most provinces do not offer incentives for Tesla vehicles. Quebec and British Columbia may offer incentives for certain models. Please check your provincial government website for the most up-to-date information.
